When the pandemic isolated kids and teens and caused increased rates of anxiety, depression and substance abuse, our therapists went above and beyond. They created a snack pantry so kids were able to eat – some for the first time that day – and be ready to work in their counseling sessions. They also added weighted blankets, fidget toys, art, music, movement, stories and meditation to supporting children in new ways.
