UPDATE: Scripture Memory Camp
"You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore."
(Psalm 16:11)
Amidst these unusual and unprecedented times, we realize many of you are wondering about this year's Scripture Memory Camp. As SMF prayerfully considers the way forward, here are some answers to your most common questions:

Is camp still on?
Yes at least for now. We are hopeful that the coronavirus will abate in the coming months, but only God knows what the future holds (Prov. 19:21; Psa. 139:4).

When will a final decision be made?
No later than June. If it becomes clear that hosting camp would jeopardize the safety of our campers and staff, camp will be cancelled or rescheduled accordingly.

Will I get a refund if camp is cancelled?
Yes. This includes registration fees and camper deposits.

Should I still register?
Yes. Since space is limited, please reserve your spot if you're planning to come. Note that SMF is currently delaying the collection of camp deposits ($25).

Should I still memorize?
Absolutely! Time spent memorizing Scripture is never wasted. Aside from the spiritual benefits of knowing God's Word (Psa. 1:2-3; Josh. 1:8), campers who earn a scholarship will still receive a reward from SMF in the event that camp is cancelled.
Be of Good Cheer!
As the Psalmist writes, “the kingdom is the LORD's, and He rules over the nations” (Psa. 22:28). If the sea can go no farther than God allows (Prov. 8:29), neither can the coronavirus!
