Chamber Newsletter
March 2021
Oh… but it does matter.
Your voice needs to be heard and we are learning more and more how it makes a difference in St Paul.
You may see me offer up links and emails from time to time to reach out to legislators who are making big decisions on various laws that affect your business. I know many times you have simply deleted the email and moved on. That’s okay, but let me share…. Your voice matters.
Senator Newman and Representatives Urdahl and Gruenhagen are our representatives at the state level. They are our collective voice. Say all you want about politics, about he said, and he said…. Your stories from your business, the statistics and numbers you share with them, help paint a stronger picture for a vote one way or the other.
This past year, we have time and time again heard from MN Chamber staff, and our legislators… your stories help them create relief for businesses like yours, stand for those who are too timid to speak and share their stories. During this time of COVID, YOUR legislators need to protect YOUR business. They can only do so, if they know you need support.
Instead of going on and on about it, I am going to just leave these contacts here for you.
Consider sharing your thoughts on a myriad of conversations happening right now in St. Paul.
PPP tax relief, cost efficient energy, affordable health care, benefit flexibility for employers… the list goes on and on.

2021 Tourism Marketing Grant
Grant applications are due by March 1, 2021! TODAY!

Since 2013, the Chamber has enjoyed granting money to events held in Hutchinson hosted by nonprofits and for-profits. These grants help cover the expense of marketing that covers a radius outside the Hutchinson area for the event. These events help the Chamber bring more people to our beautiful and welcoming community – there really is #MuchInHutch!

Tell your friends, co-workers, committees, and organizations about the Chamber’s Tourism Marketing Grant. We love to help events as they help us and increase the traffic and awesomeness of Hutchinson!

Business of the Month
Iron Jungle CrossFit has been a part of the Hutchinson area since November 2014 and is located on Hwy 7 E.

At Iron Jungle CrossFit they strive to empower and equip everyone from the weekend warrior, the stay-at-home parent, the fitness junky, and most importantly, the everyday person wondering “how did I get this out of shape”. They want to help you MOVE, LEARN and CONNECT so that you have the tools needed to get more out of life.
*CrossFit can be utilized to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance.

A few of the services currently offered are small-group class training with knowledgeable and credentialed coaches, nutritional support, breathwork, Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR) training, and of course access to the one of the most supportive networks of others sharing common attitudes, interests and goals in the Hutchinson area.

The FUN is in the community. The MAGIC is in the movement. The rest of your LIFE is waiting for you to EXPLORE.
