Georgia Right to Life is asking YOU to gather with us tomorrow to STAND FOR LIFE at the 2024 Georgia Stand For Life (previously the Georgia March For Life) in Atlanta.

Celebrating Sanctity of Human Life Month, and our 53rd Anniversary in 2024, Georgia Right to Life begins a new year remembering the more than 64 million pre-born children who lost their lives to abortion since 1973, at the Georgia Stand For Life! 


Directions to the Capitol and Liberty Plaza: Liberty Plaza is located at the corner of Martin Luther King and Capitol Avenue across from the Capitol. All parking is off site of Liberty Plaza.

The 2024 Georgia Stand For Life is a rain or shine event, there will be no cancellation due to inclement weather.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS


From the South:

>> Take I-75/85 North to Exit 245 (Capitol Avenue).

>> At the bottom of the exit ramp, continue straight through the stop sign. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Hank Aaron Drive. Liberty Plaza will be approximately one mile down on the right.


From the North:

>> Take I-75/85 South to Exit 248A (Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive). Bear right onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Liberty Plaza will be on the left just before you get to the Capitol.


From the East:

>> Take I-20 West to Exit 58A (Capitol Avenue). Turn right on Capitol Avenue. Liberty Plaza will be approximately one mile down on the right.


From the West:

>> Take I-20 East to Exit 56B (Windsor St./Spring St./Stadium). At the third light, turn left onto Central Avenue. Go to Mitchell Street and turn right. Liberty Plaza will be two blocks down and directly in front of you at the traffic light.


PARKING OPTIONS


Parking for the Capitol and Liberty Plaza: Liberty Plaza is located at the corner of Martin Luther King and Capitol Avenue across from the Capitol. The closest parking can be found at the Pete Hackney Parking Deck at 162 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive SE Atlanta, 30303. (Cash is not accepted)


MARTA: The Georgia State Capitol building at 206 Washington Street SW is only one block away from the Georgia State MARTA station on the blue/green rail line.


Directions via MARTA: Take a blue or green line train to the Georgia State station. If you are traveling from the red or gold rail line, exit at the Five Points station and follow the signs to the eastbound platform. Get on the first eastbound train and ride one stop. Once at the Georgia State station, take the Piedmont Avenue exit out of the station, turn left, and walk about a block. Walking time is less than 10 minutes.


Bus Parking: Buses should go to the west side of Washington Street in front of the Capitol to determine if parking is available in that location. If it is not, buses will be rerouted by Capitol security. Church buses with church identification information on the side of the bus are given preference with available parking.


Vehicle Parking: Public parking surrounding the Capitol can be found on this interactive map. Parking fees vary by lot, and many accept credit cards only. Certain lots may be closed due to the legislative session. The following lots are always open to the public if spaces are available:


  • Pete Hackney 162 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive Atlanta, GA 30303** closest to Liberty Plaza
  • Steve Polk Plaza Parking is located on M.L. King, Jr., Drive, one block from the Capitol
  • A surface lot is located on Memorial Drive, one block from the Capitol
  • Underground Parking: A parking garage is located on the north side of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, two blocks from the Capitol

2024 Keynote Speaker: Pastor Josh Buice

The Georgia Stand For Life will feature Dr. Josh Buice, Christian pastor and president of G3 Ministries as the keynote speaker for the 2024 event.


Pastor Buice is the senior pastor of Prays Mill Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia, where he has served for 13 years. Dr. Buice will join us on the 26th to share an urgent call for an end to abortion. 


Pastor Buice preaches in conferences and events around the world with a key emphasis on biblical preaching and the local church.
