There is something truly special about being in a national park. I have great memories with family and friends that were only possible because of these amazing places.
From hiking with my family in Shenandoah National Park, to lounging with friends on the beaches of Cape Hatteras National Seashore (properly sunscreened of course!), national parks are my place to escape, to reconnect, and to be inspired by our history.
We are lucky to have three of these national treasures right here in our backyard.
If you love relaxation and want to put your toes in the sand or your rod in the surf,
If you love adventure and want to imagine what it was like to be the first English
If you love innovation and want to be inspired by the dedication it took to achieve
This week is National Park Week, a time for park lovers like you from around the country to remember all of the memories you’ve made – and will make – in your national parks.
You can celebrate National Park Week with us by supporting
Outer Banks Forever’s official launch. Outer Banks Forever is the new nonprofit partner of your OBX national parks.
With your help, we will make our parks stronger by providing project funding, public awareness, and volunteer support at all three parks.
There are several ways you can help today:
- Give. Become a Founding Partner or Forever Founder with a monthly or one-time gift that will build a strong foundation of support for your OBX national parks.
- Share. Help us spread the word on social media by sharing your favorite picture or memory from your OBX national parks using the hashtag #obxforever.
- Volunteer. Whether you can give 5 hours or 50, you can help Outer Banks Forever and your parks. Check out the current opportunities on our website here.
Following in the footsteps of the Wright Brothers, you have an opportunity to help us take flight. Thank you for being a part of our Outer Banks Forever family. I look forward to working together as we launch our first year of support for your OBX national parks!
Sincerely,
