Committee of 100 - Enid Higher Education Council
The Enid Chamber Committee of 100 provides an opportunity for members to make an additional financial contribution that is designated for a local education purpose.

In recent years your contributions have supported important educational causes such as school bond campaigns, concurrent enrollment, STEM curriculum and the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics at Autry Technology Center.

Please consider adding $100 or more to your Enid Chamber of Commerce investment. This year your contribution will be donated to the Enid Higher Education Council, Inc. The mission of the Council is to improve access to affordable, quality higher education by providing area students with scholarship opportunities that allow them to pursue a college education in Enid. Graduates of Northern Oklahoma College and Northwestern Oklahoma State University are an outstanding resource for employers in our region. These graduates enhance the quality of our workforce.

Thank you to our members who have already supported this year’s Committee of 100 project!

LGE Class XXIX Spotlight
Riley Hall
Hometown: Enid, OK
Family: In a relationship and we have two pretty awesome corgis Tito and Henny.
Occupation/Profession: I am a third generation tax accountant at the Schoonover Agency in Enid.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Over the years I have heard a lot of good advice from a wide variety of really smart people. However, I think the best piece of advice I've ever received to this day is just simply to step out of your comfort zone. If you're comfortable with what you're doing you're not moving forward and you're not growing.
What qualities do you look for in a leader?
I look for someone who can not only lead and help show people the way, but is also humble enough to stop and consider other peoples' ideas.
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?
That is a tough one. I would have to say cornhole is probably the only sport I would have a chance in competing at an Olympic level.
Favorite thing about Enid?
I love being surrounded by the people that I know and love dearly. My family and a lot of my close friends are here in Enid, both of which are very important to me. Sometimes it feels like I can't leave my house without running into someone I know, but I do love that small town feel. The community and people in Enid are what make it such a great place to live.
Hometown: Frisco, Texas
Family: I moved to Enid to live with my boyfriend, Riley. Together we have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Tito (1.5 yrs) and Henny (7 months).
Occupation/Profession: I am the Marketing Coordinator at  Autry Technology Center . On a day-to-day basis, I create target market lists, send promotional emails, assist with the social media branding and content as well as following up with students to share new opportunities.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Whatever you do – give it 100%. Wherever you find yourself at work or in your personal life, do the very best you can do. If you ‘give it your all’ – someone will notice. The more challenging and interesting work will follow suit. You never stop growing, so make the most of it.
What qualities do you look for in a leader?
Qualities I look for in a leader include: the ability to inspire others, commitment and passion to their team, good communication, accountability and patience.
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?
I would be a gold medalist in "Instagram-Dog Mom". My two corgis have an Instagram account and they have more than 2,200 followers which is 1,000 more than my personal account! They are also bandana models for an Etsy account. Crazy, I know.
Favorite thing about Enid?
My favorite thing about Enid is the small-town feel with welcoming, compassionate people. While I miss Target, I have just about everything I need in Enid! I've met some of the greatest people in Enid, and for that I am very thankful.
