A message from your District Administrator

Dear Parents & Caregivers,

Please allow me to begin this month’s newsletter article with several calendar reminders. First, the week of March 28 to April 1 the District will observe a week-long spring break. Classes for all students will resume on Monday, April 4, 2022. This break is well timed and well deserved for students and staff who have been actively engaged in the day-to-day learning at all of our schools. Thank you for your ongoing efforts! As always, upon our return from spring break, there is no doubt the remainder of the school year will be fast paced. One important calendar item on the horizon is Commencement 2022. This year’s graduation ceremony will take place on Friday, May 27, 2022 and will begin at 5:30 p.m., and weather permitting, it will take place at the WDHS outdoor athletic stadium. Finally, if you wish to plan for spring break 2023, the District recently published its school calendar for the 2022-23 school year, and you can find a link to next year’s calendar here. Celebration of learning

In lieu of parent-teacher conferences this spring, Wisconsin Dells Middle School will be hosting a “Celebration of Learning.” As a result of hosting this event, individual conferences with teachers about your student’s progress will not occur. Please have a conversation with your student and visit Skyward for current grade status.

A guiding coalition is a group of staff members that get together for the sole purpose of ensuring that all SDWD students learn at high levels.
