HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 29, 2018) – The Washington County Division of Emergency Services , along with crews from Williamsport Volunteer Fire and EMS and Clear Spring Fire Rescue , greeted Dennis Geyer in the same driveway where they worked to free him and save his life back in April 2018. 

On Saturday, April 7, 2018, EMS and rescue crews responded to a traumatic cardiac arrest on Pinesburg Road for a man reported trapped beneath a vehicle. Geyer was in full cardiac arrest for fifteen minutes and rescue crews worked together to resuscitate Geyer. He spent time at Meritus Medical Center and Western Maryland Hospital during his recovery.
