New Williston Square Roads to open October 9th

News Release - The City of Williston is pleased to announce that on Monday, October 9, 33rd St. W., 9th Ave. W., 31st St. W. and 8th Ave. W. into Williston Square will be open to public use. A brief public ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. with a ribbon cutting to officially open the roads. The public and media are invited to attend. Following the ribbon cutting, the road will be officially open with Williston Mayor Howard Klug leading the first cars through 33rd Street West up to 16th Ave, and around to 9th Ave W.

Williston City Commission approves 2024 Budget

News Release - The Williston City Commissioner was presented and have voted to approve Resolution 23-017, the 2024 Fiscal Year Budget for the City of Williston. The proposed budget was presented to the City Commission during a special meeting on Monday, September 25th, and the Commission voted to approve the budget during the regular City Commission meeting on Tuesday, September 26th.

Jack & Juice, Escape Spa & Tanning present at 1 Million Cups October 4th

Entrepreneurs shared how they started their new businesses in Williston at 1 Million Cups on Wednesday, October 4th. JW and Valerie Sheering talked about starting and expanding Jack & Juice, a cold-pressed juice company. The business is preparing to relocate to the Downtown Plaza later this year. Meanwhile, Toni Free shared details about Escape Spa & Tanning located next to Papa Murphy's on Reider Drive. The spa offers massage, tanning, spray tanning, teeth whitening, lashes and brows, hair styling, and much more! Watch the video for more information.

Ribbon Cutting October 6th at New Filipino Restaurant

The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will help The Karinderya celebrate its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Friday, October 6th, at 5 p.m. The new Filipino restaurant is located at 8 West Broadway in Downtown Williston.

Theodore Roosevelt Expressway Meeting October 27th in Dickinson

The Theodore Roosevelt Expressway Association will host a meeting on Thursday, October 27th in Dickinson. District 1 Senator Brad Bekkedahl ND Senate Appropriations Chair, will present at the meeting. TREA is dedicated to four-laning US Highway 85 across North Dakota. Currently construction is underway on the divided four-lane on Highway 85 between Watford City and the Long X Bridge. The $77.2 million project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

2023 Trail of Treats October 31st in Downtown Williston

Get ready for a spook-tacular good time at the 2023 Trail of Treats sponsored by the Williston Downtowners Association on Tuesday, October 31st from 3-5:30 PM. The Teal Pumpkin Project will be offered again, for trick-or-treaters with food allergies. A complete list of participating businesses will be available.
