Dear Willows families,
Out of a continued abundance of caution, all in person Willows classes, events, and extracurricular activities are canceled beginning March 13th until further notice.
Currently, we have no known contact or cases of COVID-19 in the Willows community. As you know, things are rapidly changing, and we are in uncharted territory. We are grateful for your
patience, flexibility, and understanding.
Here is the plan:
Thursday, March 12th - Students complete assignments that were previously assigned.
Friday, March 13th - No classes; No Mother-Daughter Luncheon; Faculty and staff inservice
Monday, March 16th - No classes
Tuesday, March 17th - eLearning Plan begins:
- Teachers provide asynchronous instruction and assignments for all courses via PlusPortals, email, Turnitin.com, and/or Google Classroom.
- Look for guidance early next week with more information for students and parents.
Friday, March 20-Sunday, March 29th - Spring Break
Monday, March 30th: eLearning resumes
We will reevaluate our eLearning plan and the public health situation as more information becomes available. It is our hope that we will be able to resume classes as soon as deemed possible.
We are very disappointed to have to cancel the Mother-Daughter luncheon and plan to reschedule at a future date. A huge thank you to chairs, Bibi Mack and Kathy deGrasse and everyone who donated items for the raffle baskets. We can’t wait to eventually raffle them off!
Let’s all try to make the most of this extended time with family. It’s certainly a time for the history books!
