To the Residents of Wilmington,

November 2023 | Newsletter C-2

We are excited to bring you the latest update on construction activities at there new Senior Center located on Main Street.

The construction team has successfully completed the first phase of construction. The site has been cleared of all the trees and stumps, which have been sent to lumber mills or other facilities to be recycled into other wood products. The construction crews are working on the next phase of the site development, which includes bringing in material to help level the area to the desired grade. The topsoil has been stripped and stockpiled for future use on the site. The construction fence has been installed around the site and erosion control measures are in place.

Looking ahead, the site will have increased activity as the heavy machinery and equipment continue to work on site preparation. Excavation will begin soon for the construction of the concrete foundation, which will be followed by the exterior walls.

The construction team is committed to minimizing disruptions and maintaining open lines of communication throughout the construction. Your ongoing support and understanding are invaluable as we navigate these critical stages of construction, bringing us one step closer to making our new Senior Center a reality.

These construction newsletters are developed and generated by the Owner's Project Manager, to keep the community informed of the progress being made on the site.

We understand that the construction process may cause minor inconveniences, such as temporary detours or noise disturbances. However, we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work towards creating a better future for our community.

As always, safety remains our utmost priority. We assure you that all necessary precautions are being taken to ensure a secure and controlled construction environment.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the school construction project, please send an email to P3 and we will answer them as quickly as possible.
