4B Group Opens New Middle East Office in UAE

4B Group is excited to announce that we have expanded our Middle East service with a new office in the UAE. 4B Middle East is located in the Sharjah International Airport Free Zone.

The new office puts 4B right in the heart of the region and closer to the many customers we serve across the Middle East, ranging from grain handling to fertilizer to cement companies. 

"The Middle East is an area of strategic importance with great resources and is a region of significant economic growth,” says Zakaria Rasras, Managing Director of 4B Middle East. “With the Industry I 4.0 revolution; decision makers are increasingly aware of the need to save energy and increase productivity through improvements in processing efficiency, while protecting the environment.”

With the UAE office, 4B will be able to easily facilitate customers’ awareness of the importance of quality and safety, and provide on-site engineering and after-sales support, both services which are at the heart of 4B’s company philosophy.

Carl Swisher

Sales Manager, Material Handling

Carl Swisher took the material handling and 4B Components by storm almost 13 years ago, and he hasn’t stopped since. His title says “Sales Manager,” but it doesn’t quite encompass all that Carl does. “Aside from sales, I am involved with product pricing structure, marketing implementation and vendor relationships,” he says. “It is an all-encompassing role that offers something interesting every week.”

Carl’s enthusiasm for his role extends to our products too – he genuinely believes in 4B Components’ design advantages, and customers can tell. Those relationships plus the 4B difference are just a couple examples of what keeps him here long term.

“4B does a lot of little things for its employees which build loyalty,” says Carl. “They also offer me independence to run my territory as if it’s my own small business and reward the results of those successes.”

Carl and his wife of 30 years, Rhonda, live in St. Louis, near their five grown children. They have a big yard with chickens, and now that they’re empty nesters, they’ve started traveling more and exploring the world together.
