Our educational workshops explore exciting topics presented to children through multiple engaging formats, while discovering how to think outside the box and collaborate with their peers.  Our workshops offer a range of subjects from art and magic to science and culture. All Wrapped Up Holiday Shopping Event   Friday, November 15th 5- 9pm

Parents will have a new opportunity this holiday season to find unique gifts for the children on their shopping list.  A wide variety of vendors will be at the museum to share gift ideas and sell items that complement the museum's mission to educate, empower, and excite children and families.

The event will feature educational products that encourage imaginative play, critical thinking, motor skills, artistic expression, and more.  Vendors will have a variety of books, games, puzzles, sensory toys, stuffed animals, children's clothing and other items that are not found in traditional stores. 
  
Items offered during "All Wrapped Up" will be focused exclusively on children's needs and interests. Gift wrapping and refreshments will also be available. The museum's exhibits will be closed to allow parents and caregivers a full shopping experience. For more information click  here.

Toddler Area!
With a new ocean-themed exhibit, children will be able to crawl, play, climb, and explore in a gallery designed just for toddlers. Phase 1 - the Design Phase - is complete and we are ready to move into the Fabrication Phase, with your help! Donations can be made at our Front Desk, or by visiting our website

Million Penny Challenge Kick Off!

Help the museum collect one million pennies to help raise funds for our exhibits. C oins will be collected Aug 1st - Nov 1st.

Superhero Day
Friday, August 2nd
Wear your favorite Super Hero costume and enjoy decorating capes and taking photos with Wonder Woman at 10:30am and 12:30pm and Spider-Man at 11:30am and 1:30pm. Enjoy Super Reader Jan with special Storybook Theatre at 11am and enjoy complimentary caricatures by Jonathan 10am-1pm.
