This August celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Grateful Dead and the bands that would become "the Sound of San Francisco" - the sound that defined a generation and influenced many. An anniversary that big calls for a huge musical celebration, and on Friday, August 14th, we will have a show that will define your summer.

JEFFERSON STARSHIP performs the music of Jefferson Airplane featuring original members Paul Kantner and David Freiberg, plus Grammy nominated singer Cathy Richardson, who portrayed Janis Joplin in the heralded "Love, Janis".

Plus, JAZZ IS DEAD, the forefathers of the "Jam Band," reunite after a 10-year hiatus to join the celebration and perform the music of The Grateful Dead. Alphonso Johnson, bassist for Furthur, Bobby & The Midnights & Weather Report; and, Jeff Pevar, guitarist for Phil Lesh and Crosby-Nash - lead the group famous for instrumental interpretations of Grateful Dead's repertoire.
