Happy 1 month and 2 weeks until the 2016 Birch Equipment Whatcom Hospice Pro-Am!
As always thank you for your support of Whatcom Hospice, our Northwest community Hospice House and the 9th Annual Pro-Am on September 1st at the
Bellingham Golf and Country Club.
Last year we had great team camaraderie, pace of play and record-breaking fundraising. We are poised to bring it all to the next level for our Teams, Sponsors, Pros and - of course - All for Hospice.
There are some additions to the tournament this year..
New Scramble Format for Teams to utilize more of their Pro's talent. How does this work you ask?
- Each team gets five hits from their Pro: drives, chips, putts, out of the woods, etc. When a Pro hits for team play, it will count as a *used* Pro hit for the team, whether or not it is used towards the team score.
- To maintain Pro-Am format Pro must also play their own ball.
- Step up your game and pre-purchase up to five additional Pro hits for a mere $250 each (fundraiser for Hospice after all) The limit is 10 total Pro hits per team. A bit of strategy is required to maximize Pro talent and keep pace of play rolling.
Want to win $1,000,000? (Yes, we said a Million) If you're participating in the new 19th Hole Pro-Am Longest Drive then you'll get your shot at a Million!

Birdie Sponsor (Sound Beverage) have a gratis entrance for an amateur on their team to compete alongside a selected Pro. Each heavy hitter has 1 minute to hit as many drives as they like (Must hit minimum of 5) all while the rest of the golfers cheer them on and place bets. The duo (Pro+Amateur) with the longest combined distance win (4) tickets to a home 2016 Seattle Sounders Game plus each get player gets1 shot at the
Million Dollar Hole-In-One, shot from the first fairway back to the practice green

Fundraising for Pro & Prize selection ends Tuesday, August 23rd at 4pm. We will immediately begin contacting team captains, in order of monies raised with the goal of all teams selecting their
Pro and choice of an amazing team prize (If enough $$ raised) by Thursday, August 25th. Prizes include:
