GROW Month is almost here and now is the time to start planning a spectacular banana display. The display campaign starts on September 1, 2020. Displays must be up for a minimum of 1 week during September. Entries will be judged by an independent committee based on the following criteria:
o Show GROW bananas with labels clearly visible
o Use of Vote GROW 2020 campaign theme
o Highlighting of GROW program and what it means
o Creativity
Winners will be chosen and announced on October 15, 2020. A grand prize will be awarded as well as prizes for each distributor involved and all participating stores. That means you will be rewarded just by participating!
Remember, it’s an election year and displays should highlight our current campaign: Vote GROW 2020. Thanks to your support, GROW bananas have been giving back to the farming communities of Mexico and Ecuador since 2005. Your customers will know that voting GROW this fall with their organic banana purchases continues to support and build this fairly traded program. We have included some display ideas to help you get in the GROW spirit:

- Who hasn’t eaten one?

How to enter:
o Submit entry email of intention to participate by August 25 and receive GROW face masks for the produce staff. Please email [email protected] with your name, phone number and workplace in order to sign up.
o Send photos along with display contest entry form giving the name of the person building the display, the store, address, phone, email, and distributor.
Extra credit:
o Take photo of display(s) and use #VoteGROW2020 display on store’s social media.
