Island Street Bridge Schedule Update:

The City recently received an updated construction schedule for the replacement of the Island Street Bridge. Although we suspected that the completion date of December 2023 was no longer realistic, this is the first written confirmation we have received. The projected opening date for the Island Street bridge is now in March of 2024. We understand this may create continued hardship for those who rely on the Island Street bridge, and we appreciate your patience. We continue to work closely with our contractor to identify further potential delays before they occur.

As always, please check out the project website or the Keene Public Works Facebook page for updates as things progress. Thank you!
