Christmas Eve Children's Play
Wednesday, December 24 at 10:00 a.m.
Celebrate Christmas with joy and wonder! All are invited to hear the story of Jesus’ birth told by our children, sing beloved carols, and join in worship. Members of the congregation will help bring the story to life with various roles (including sheep, donkeys, angels, and kings) as our Kindergarten and five-year-olds lead us through the nativity. After worship, continue the celebration outside with a live petting zoo, cupcakes, hot chocolate, and a festive photo booth. A sensory-friendly viewing of the service will also be available in the chapel and therapy bunnies will visit in the Fellowship Hall for anyone who might benefit from a quieter and more sensory friendly environment.

Covenant’s Christmas Eve Offering and the Gift of Making Room
This year’s Christmas Eve Offering supports Charlotte Family Housing and Tomorrow’s Youth Organization, longtime mission partners who make room for children and families seeking safety, stability, and hope in Charlotte and Nablus, Palestine. Through Charlotte Family Housing, families in our city move from shelter into stable homes, covering the essential costs that make new beginnings possible. Through Tomorrow’s Youth Organization, children affected by displacement and conflict receive food, healthcare, and access to education. On this holy night, we remember a child born with no room at the inn. When we make room for vulnerable children and families, we make room for Christ.
To make a gift online, text “Give” to 704-312-7616, then use the link you receive. Or click on this link and choose "Fund" then "Christmas Eve" on the page. Thank you for your generosity.

Convocation Sunday: January 4 - Father Gregory Boyle
Speaking in Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m.; preaching in the Sanctuary at 11:00 a.m.
We are delighted to welcome Father Greg Boyle to Covenant for a morning of inspiration and reflection in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m. followed by preaching at the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Known for his transformative work with Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles — the world’s largest gang intervention and rehabilitation program — Fr. Boyle invites us to consider what it means to mend the gaps between us through compassion, kinship, and the boundless mercy of God. His stories of grace, humor, and healing remind us that we are most ourselves when we stand with one another in love. Don’t miss this opportunity to be encouraged and challenged by one of the most compelling voices for radical hope in our time. Find the link for both livestreams at www.covenantpresby.org/sunday-events.
