2022 The Ties That Bind
Stewardship Campaign
We are progressing toward our stewardship goal for 2022 but need your help to develop our operating budget for 2022. As of December 14, we have received pledges totaling $ 2,483,557, approximately 80% of our pledge goal. We still need over $616,000 to reach our budget goal. Thank you to those who have already pledged. If you have not pledged or can increase your pledge for 2022, you can visit CovenantPresby.org/pledge, return a pledge card found in the pew racks in the offering plate during worship service, or click on the pledge now button below. We are truly blessed as a community and are counting on your support to continue our work in the community and around the world.
This Week At Covenant
Many of us struggle with the hard realities of grief, illness, and unfulfilled dreams during holiday celebrations. A candlelight service with Katherine Kerr, senior associate minister, and Lucy Crain, pastoral intern, is intended to bring comfort and re-center our focus. Join us for reflection, words, and stirring music as we seek peace in the good news of Emmanuel.
Christmas Eve at Covenant
Children's Service in the Sanctuary
Festivities will start with the Children's Service in the Sanctuary at 10:00 a.m. All children can have a role; costumes will be provided, and script memorization is not necessary! If you're able, please bring diapers, wipes, and other baby needs for Crisis Assistance Ministry.

Family Festival on the Green with Live Animals
Our Christmas Eve Family Festival will have live animals (including the camel!), music, Christmas Crafts, hot chocolate and apple cider station, a photo wall, and decorated Christmas trees. The carillonneurs will be playing throughout the day. Grab a loved one or two and join us from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on the Green. All are welcome!

Sanctuary will be open for worship preparation on Christmas Eve
Listen to beautiful music and light a candle as you take a sacred stroll through the Sanctuary, which will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Worship elements will be available to take home for those who plan to worship online for the 3:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. services.

The Charlotte Waites help us welcome the Prince of Peace on Christmas Eve
Join us during the Christmas Eve Family Festival from 12 - 12:30 p.m. when The Charlotte Waites will play medieval instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy, sackbut, pipe and tabor, cornetto, recorder, tambourine, and the violone (also known as the double bass). All are welcome to enjoy this outdoor musical event at Covenant!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship Services at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Two candlelight worship services will be held in the Sanctuary on Christmas Eve: a contemporary service with Appalachian music at 3:00 p.m. and a traditional service at 5:00 p.m. No reservation is necessary, but please remember to wear a mask. All are welcome!
