Tonight! New Open Table programs for all ages
You're invited to a new season of Open Table! Dinner is every Wednesday from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by programs at 6:30 p.m. Here's what is happening tonight:
  • Authentic Living in a Wired World: Contemplate how to prevent social media from hijacking the courage to be our unique selves. Juliet Kuehnle, a Covenant member and therapist with
    Southeast Psych, will kick off the series tonight.
  • The Bible Skimmed: Join us every week or drop in with Bob and Jessica as we explore stories from scripture and navigate daily life in ordinary and extraordinary times.
  • Make music with us! New night for Covenant Choir rehearsals in the Peek Music Room from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Those interested in singing for special occasions only (such as All Saints Day, Lessons & Carols, etc.) are welcome to attend from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
     
    • Children's Choirs: Rehearsals are 5:45 to 6:30 p.m., in EW201 (Angelus Choir, K to 2nd grade) and EW315 (Choristers Choir, 3rd to 5th grade).
       
  • Young Scholars, an elementary-age Bible study is at 6:30. Drop off in Rec Wing kitchen.
     
  • Music & Movement: Ages 4-5 Bible story & music at 6:30. Drop off in Rec Wing kitchen.
     
  • Childcare for infants-K is available from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
     
  • Youth (Grades 6-12): Open Gym with Perrin Tribble; Faith + Fellowship with Levi Bannerman.
  • Tonight's Menu: Barry's BBQ, chicken, mac & cheese, cobbler
Congregational meeting is Sunday
10:30 a.m. in Sanctuary
A congregational meeting will be held to elect 10 adult elders to the Session class of 2021 and two Youth Elders to serve one-year terms beginning Jan. 1. A slate of nominees has been developed by the Elder Nominating Committee. Additionally, nominations may be made from the floor. The nominee must consent and be present.

the Chapel and then moves to Dilworth Grille. We'll start with "Why Do Bad Things

Quarterly Contribution Statements were e-mailed last Thursday to t he primary email contact for each household. If you have not received the email, please check with your spouse to confirm that it was received. Habitat build is coming up

New! Filling Station, a women's small group for the "middle" years 
Sunday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m.
Looking for fellowship with other women in the transition years called middle age? A pilot group met monthly over the summer to test and refine a new way of gathering in faith and friendship - a new way to connect and fill us up!  

Filling Station will formally launch on Sunday, Oct. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. for  fellowship, a light dinner and a brief message/discussion. Going forward, the group  will gather every six weeks. To get connected, contact Cindy Austin.
