Insider Edition 76 | October 3, 2024
|
Hello Windsor!
October is here and fall is officially upon us! The change in colors and crisp morning air signal the start of the colder seasons, although with 100* plus temperatures this week, you might not know it.
With the heat and fall breezes comes added concern about wildfire. Please remain prepared, check your gutters for leaves and home for defensible space, ensure your go bag is ready, and know your zone.

An uptick in illegal dumping is occurring around Town. This is an issue that has gotten the attention of our community members, elected officials, and Town staff. Illegal dumping has public health, economic, and environmental consequences, therefore we ask that you report incidents or acts of illegal dumping to the Town.
The Town is committed to keeping our community clean by preventing and reducing illegal dumping or littering. Town staff will continue to monitor known sites and take steps to educate our community on options to dispose of your items properly.
Single-family properties with CART service- 2 free bulky item pick-ups per year.
Multi-Family properties with BIN service – 2 community bulky item picks up per year, scheduled and coordinated with the property management.
| |
It is not allowed and is unlawful to place any items, regardless of their condition, on the curb, sidewalk, public right-of-way, or on private property not belonging to them for others to pick up; this is considered illegal dumping or littering.
