Jon Davis Town Manager

Hello Windsor!

This past week we experienced a record amount of rain with rivers and creeks overflowing causing road flooding and hazardous driving conditions.

I want to thank the Public Works employees especially the Streets division with assistance from other Windsor departments who stood vigilant day and night to keep our Town safe. This event reminds us that as a community we must be prepared to respond quickly and safely.

Have a plan in place, meet your neighbors – talk to them, have a go bag packed, charge your equipment, and know your evacuation zone.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and that the holidays are filled with joy, love, and laughter.

HOLIDAY COOKING

When cooking up your holiday meals, remember that pouring fats, oil, or grease (FOG) down the drain can damage your home's plumbing system and clog the municipal sewer system.

Instead, please properly dispose of FOG by wiping small amounts into the trash or pouring larger amounts into a closed container and dropping them off at a designated cooking oil recycling drop-off location.

Learn more about FOG and find a recycling drop-off location at
