Good morning,
A great deal of work has started on Windsor Road project including municipal water main installation that was completed today. Storm sewer installation will start tomorrow for about two weeks. We highly recommend that residents use the detour, this is for the safety of construction workers and your safety.
Temporary mailboxes have been installed at Highland Drive and the Post Office has been asked to deliver to the temporary mailboxes for houses on Windsor Road. If you have not receive mail please contact the Post Office. For trash and recycling days, please put the carts out at your normal spots and the Contractor is responsible to make sure they get emptied. If they don’t get emptied please let me know and I will make sure they get emptied.
Tentatively, starting next Friday the Contractor for the bridge work will be bringing construction equipment and materials to the job site. They will start with removal of the old bridge and start installing steel pilings for the new bridge. There will be no access during the entire bridge project, the estimated completion of the bridge is the end of August, weather pending.
The River Road bridge across the interstate should be completed within the next couple of weeks and we will open up Old River Road to access the River Road bridge. Stay tuned, we will post on Facebook and we will send another email once opened.
