Windsor Utilities - Water Meter Replacement

Windsor Utilities is in the process of upgrading and replacing water meters and meter reading equipment. The purpose of the upgrade is to stay in compliance with meter testing requirements, but also update the equipment to current standards. When the utility is ready to change your water meter, we will notify you by email, letter, or door hanger. When you receive notice, please visit https://www.windsorwi.gov/utility and fill out the “Meter Change Out Application,” or call 608-888-0011 to schedule an appointment. You should anticipate it will take approximately 30 minutes to complete; and we need to have someone on site that will allow us access to the meter location (usually the basement, crawl space, or utility closet).
