We cannot believe we are already into August! Summer seems to be going by so fast! We took a staff trip on Sunshine Charters out of Charlevoix and enjoyed a sunny afternoon boat ride with great food and laughs! We are so thankful for our staff...it takes a dedicated team to make this a special place!

Wine of the Month!

Love Sangria!

Our wine of the month is Love Sangria! This red wine sangria is great on its own or paired with tacos. Serve with fresh fruit for garnish or add frozen fruit in replace of ice cubes! You can also try it as a cocktail -- check out this recipe!

Petoskey

Sunset Sangria Rum Cocktail

3/4oz of white rum

3/4oz of peach liqueur

2 1/2oz orange juice

3/4oz Love Sangria float

Add rum, peach liqueur and orange juice to a glass with ice. Stir drink. Gently pour sangria over the back of a spoon just above the drink surface so the wine floats. Garnish with an orange slice.

News From The Cellar

Changes On the Farm

The majority of the cellar activity is on cruise control as we continue to distill our Estate Grown Lavender into essential oil and hydrosol.

We've been excavating parts of the property to expand our lavender fields as well as plant new fruit trees!

News From The Vineyard

Healthy Vines, Tasty Wines

We are seeing awesome progress in the vineyard.

The vines are looking healthy due to some decent rainfall this past week. Aside from the occasional smoggy or rainy day, we have also had decent sunshine this season which means our growing units are on a similar trajectory to last year's growing season.

The berries are still green and hard but are getting larger every day and the bunches are beginning to close up. Veraison (color change) is right around the corner!
