Greetings from Burlington Wine Shop,

It's a beautiful sunny day and tomorrow's forecast is 81 degrees and sunny. Doesn't a crisp, dry rosé sound just right for this weekend? We have a ton of great rosé in the shop that we've been itching to share with you, but the weather hasn't been cooperating. Well today is the day. Come taste a lineup of six fantastic dry rosés. These wines are fun to taste side by side as it reveals the nuance and differences of their grape varieties and regions and allows you to appreciate each individually. We look forward to seeing you this afternoon at the shop.
Wine Sampling - Rosé for Summer
              Saturday, June 8th - 1:00 - 7:00pm
We'll begin today's rosé tasting with Sables d'Azur Cotes de Provence (Reg. $15.99, Sale $8.99),   a pale rose-peach colored wine with an elegant nose and delicate hints of small red fruits and sweet citrus fruits that's exhibits good balance between alcohol and acidity, followed by Masi Rosa dei Masi (Reg. $14.99, Sale $11.99), a  fresh and fruity rosé with complexity and elegance, a salmon pink color with cherry-colored reflections and aromas of just ripened berry fruit on the nose. From there we have Domaine Salvard, Cheverny Rosé (Reg. $17.99, Sale $15.99), a bright, tart and bone-dry rosé with fresh acidity, delicate red-berry flavors plus notes of melon, shifting subtly into an intriguing stony minerality that lasts into a very long, shimmering finish, followed by Bellula Rosé ($10.99), a Syrah and Grenache based rosé where the aromatic essence of Syrah ideally mingles with the ripe and fruity Grenache, combining to create a subtle wine that will transport you to the South of France. Our second to last rosé will be Chateau Thivin Beaujolais Rosé (Reg. $20.99, Sale $14.99), a harmonious and delicate wine for summer drinking with fresh fruit aromas and light, tart flavors balancing the ripe red berry fruit, and we'll finish things off with Paul D Zweigelt Rosé ($11.99), a rosé that's generous, fresh and aromatic with ripe red summer berries and hints of honey and apricot before a clean and crisp finish.
