This Durif, another name for Petite Sirah, from Australia is a beautiful expression of New World wine. There is a generous core of dark fruit flavors supported by mature, mouth-coating tannins. The finish is long and dry with notes of dark blackberry and mocha lingering. We'll be tasting this wine today and have ten 6-packs coming in this Friday for which we'll be offering the presell price today of $16, a fantastic deal for this special treat.

Today we have some fantastic and affordable wines for you to enjoy this spring and summer. These are bright, refreshing whites and reds that can handle warmer weather and pair well with grilled foods. In addition we have a special opportunity to taste a fantastic Australian Petite Sirah and take advantage of a presell we're offering to get a discount of 36% Off. In addition, today is the first outdoor Farmers' Market of the season! We look forward to seeing you this afternoon.
        Wine Sampling - Summer Wines on a Budget
              Saturday, May  12th  - 1:00 - 7:00pm  
We'll begin today's tasting with I Am Sauvignon Blanc ($9.99), the first of two wines from Romania, this wine is bright and racy with notes of meyers lemon and other citrus flavors, followed by I Am Chardonnay ($9.99), a clean, unoaked Chardonnay with ripe stone fruit flavors, and we'll finish off the whites with Essay Chenin Blanc ($9.99), a medium-bodied, dry Chenin from South Africa with a rich texture and mouthfeel. For reds we'll begin with La Cattedrale di Gottardo Montepulciano d'Abruzzo ($9.99), a rustic, earthy Italian wine with red fruit flavors and spice notes on the finish, then move on to Chateau de Blaignac Bordeaux ($9.99), a full-bodied red with fine tannins and acidity supporting a core of plum and wild raspberry fruits flavors, and we'll finish things off with a presell opportunity on Three Bridges Durif (Reg. $24.99, Sale $16.00), an Australian Petite Sirrah with an intense concentration of dense, dark fruit flavors, mature, mouth-coating tannins and a long finish of blackberry and mocha that we have to taste today and purchase at the presell price of $16.00 for pickup this Friday.
