WBN Virtual Program on Integrative Medicine Oct. 21

All are invited to join the Women's Biz Net (WBN) for Virtual Networking and a Program on Integrative Medicine at noon on Thursday, Oct. 21. Board-certified advanced practice nurse Debbie Stamm, APRN, will offer information and insights into integrative medicine and whether it is right for you. This program is FREE to BACC members and $15 for nonmembers.

State Legislators Virtual Town Hall Forum is Nov. 10

Join us for the Barrington Area State Legislators Virtual Town Hall Forum on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 8:30 am. Get updates on current issues, followed by a Q&A session at this FREE event that is open to the public. Application Deadline for B2B Grants is Wed.

The application deadline for the Illinois Back to Business (B2B) Grant Program is this Wednesday, Oct. 13. The program is designed to maximize the impact of American Rescue Plan Act funds provided to Illinois, offering $250 million for businesses that have experienced losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID Economic Injury Disaster Loan Updates for Small Business Owners

In light of recent policy changes to the COVID Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program involving loan size and eligibility questions, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering small business owners FREE online informational sessions on this topic, as well as answers to FAQ about how to navigate the application process. Answers to FAQ on IL Face Covering & Vaccination Requirements

An Executive Order signed last mongth by Gov. J.B. Pritzker, requires all individuals over the age of 2 (who can medically tolerate a face covering) to wear a mask when in indoor public places. The order also requires health care workers, school personnel, higher education personnel and students, and employees and contractors of state-owned or operated congregate facilities to be fully vaccinated. Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Accepting Vaccine Appointments

COVID-19 vaccine appointments for people 12 and older are now being accepted at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, 450 W. Hwy. 22 in Barrington.
