Proverbs 30:25 NIV
“Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer;”
Dear Friends,
As we move into the summer, we have much to do at Faith Christian Academy. It might not have a lot of "sizzle," but doing the little things well, consistently, over time, produces amazing results!
Exciting things are in the works for next year!
* Spiritual Emphasis initiatives
* Adding 11th grade
* Addition of foreign language (Spanish) for high school students
* Bringing back Art class to the Lower School
* Revision of Math and Reading instructional model
* The 20th Annual Father-Daughter Ball
* And much more!
It is an awesome privilege to partner with families to train children up in the way they should go. Please pray for wisdom for our staff and parents as we navigate child-rearing in the 21st century! Your support is appreciated more than you know.
Should you need assistance in June or July, our summer office hours will be Monday through Thursday, 8am - 2pm. Please call or stop by if we can help you in any way!
In Faith and Friendship,

Faith Christian Academy's
Spring Choral Celebration
held at River of Praise Baptist Church was an uplifting success. The evening was introduced by Mrs. Erin Land, Assistant Principal and directed by teacher Mrs. Jennifer Brooks. Parents, grandparents, and guests were treated to a variety of songs. Students from First Grade through Grade 10 demonstrated their vocal skills in selections ranging from "Everything is Awesome" to "Rise Up".
The FCA annual Spring Choral Celebration is one of the closing events in a successful school year. Congratulations to the students and staff for providing a pleasant evening of popular songs and songs of praise.

EOY Award Ceremony
Faith Christian Academy recognized students in special End-of-Year award ceremonies last month. Select students in Grades K-5 were honored at the Lower School on Monday, May 20th, and students in Grades 6-10 were acknowledged at the Upper School on Wednesday, May 22nd. The Perseverance Award is presented to the student in each grade who has overcome challenging obstacles throughout the school year. Recipients of the Christian Character Award are chosen by their grade-level peers as the student who exemplifies Christian character in their relationships with faculty, staff and fellow students as well as through their work and participation in extracurricular activities. The Eagle Award is presented to the students who excel academically, show strong Christian character, and good citizenship. Faith Christian Academy is honored to partner with parents to train our children up in the way they should go.

A team of evaluators from The Florida Association of Christian Schools (FLOCS) recently visited Faith Christian Academy for the purpose of evaluating the school’s standards and practices. To maintain its accreditation, Faith Christian Academy has diligently maintained and exceeded the educational goals academically and administratively as set out by this highly respected and nationally known agency.
Bryan
Alvaré
, Headmaster at FCA, is proud to announce that the school, once again, has achieved its independent accreditation status. “It is an extremely thorough assessment process which involves grading all aspects of our school ranging from curriculum to school safety and security.” Faith Christian Academy came through the three-day on-campus visit with flying colors. Mr.
Alvaré
also indicated that he is very proud of his faculty and staff for their dedication not only to the school but to their profession as certified teachers.
Faith Christian Academy has been steadily growing over the past several years. Grade 11 will be available in August for the start of the new school year. Mr.
Alvaré
went on to say, “FCA is a high achieving school but we are also a Christian ministry. We are educating the heads and the hearts of our students.” The FLOCS accreditation team was impressed with the number of charitable outreaches, students and staff perform, annually, in the community.
Mr.
Alvaré
stated that the school intends to pursue AdvanceEd accreditation status during the next school year. “We believe in our students and our staff. AdvanceEd would be a notable achievement reflecting our commitment to growth and excellence.” Plans are presently in process to receive this recognition.

We believe God has set us on a mission to grow His kingdom by investing in our students and programs. On behalf of our present student body and those children whom we have yet to meet, I pray you, our Guardian Angels, will become an active and faithful supporter of FCA. Our goal is to raise $50,000. Your financial assistance is greatly needed and appreciated.
