We're Doing This Together!

As the year comes to a close, we’re stepping back and reflecting on the truly amazing things that we­—Winnakee and YOU—have done in 2024. Earlier this year, we built a new bridge at Vlei Marsh. Your donation of time and money made this possible and now visitors have easier access to this beautiful preserve, the second largest wetland area in Rhinebeck. You made this happen!

With your help, we were also able to monitor and protect more habitats for endangered wildlife, extend our trails for public enjoyment and engaged over 100 new volunteers who dedicated some 750 stewardship hours to maintaining our parks and preserves. And this year, Winnakee has developed a program that will guide landowners through the options available for permanent protection of their land.
