For over a decade the
Pittsburgh Human Resources Association's (PHRA) Engaging Pittsburgh: Innovative People Practices Awards
has recognized employees and employers from across the region who have demonstrated creativity in designing business practices. These practices have significantly contributed towards organizational and employee achievements. Since the initial Engaging Pittsburgh awards celebration in 2000, the 2019 Engaging Pittsburgh celebration ranks among the most exciting.
Earl Buford, Chief Executive Officer, Partner4Work
, opened the ceremony by providing insight and statistics on how Partner4Work is advancing the local labor market dynamics by delivering solutions to bridge the gap between people looking for work and businesses in need of talent. Earl's presentation was inspiring and left attendees dreaming big about opportunities to develop a thriving workforce in the Pittsburgh region.
Afterwards, the accomplishments of all
were announced by
Janet K. Manuel, PHRA's President.
