TRAFFIC IMPACT:
Alternating one-way traffic patterns will be in effect in areas of active construction throughout the week of 8/21/22. Please anticipate delays.
Parking restrictions will be in effect throughout the project area as needed the week of 8/21 along West Allen and East Allen. Please observe parking restrictions. Vehicles left in restricted areas will be towed at the expense of the owner.
Please use caution and reduce speed when driving through the construction zone. Structures will remain raised until the wearing course of asphalt has been paved.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
Paving of the final, or wearing course of asphalt will continue along Route 15/East Allen Street progressing west toward the Circulator. Parking restrictions along East Allen will be in effect. Please observe all parking restrictions. Vehicles left in restricted areas will be towed at the owner's expense.
It is anticipated that paving operations will reach the area of the Circulator by mid-week next week.
Paving is weather-dependent. Inclement weather can alter the planned paving schedule.
On the abutting Burlington roadway project, sidewalk ramp work will continue in various locations along the project.
Once paving has been completed in Winooski, paving is expected to begin along Riverside Ave., starting near the intersection with Colchester Avenue.
Work on this contract will be performed at night. All nighttime work hours are 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday night. It should be noted, however, that work may be performed at times on Friday nights.
