TRAFFIC IMPACT:
Alternating one-way traffic patterns will be in effect in areas of active construction throughout the week of 9/6/22. Please anticipate delays.
Please use caution and reduce speed when driving through the construction zone. Structures will remain raised until the wearing course of asphalt has been paved.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
Crews will complete any remaining work on plug joints located on the Winooski Bridge and areas along the Circulator where concrete abuts asphalt next week.
One-way alternating traffic will be in effect in these areas. Please expect delays, particularly in the vicinity of the Winooski Bridge.
The contractor will begin paving driveway aprons next week, Tuesday through Thursday night (9/6-9/8).
Project-wide clean-up will begin during the late-afternoon hours along the entire project limits. This will occur intermittently over the course of the next several weeks.
On the abutting Burlington roadway project, sidewalk ramp work is scheduled for completion on Tuesday night, 9/6 in various locations along the project.
Paving is expected to begin Thursday, 9/8 along Riverside Ave., starting near the intersection with Colchester Ave. One-way alternating traffic will be required, and delays will occur. Please expect moderate delays and consider an alternate route if possible.
Holiday: In observance of the Labor Day holiday, crews will not be working Friday, 9/2 through Monday, 9/5. Work will resume on Tuesday, 9/6 at 7:00 p.m.
Work on this contract will be performed at night. All nighttime work hours are 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday night. It should be noted, however, that work may be performed at times on Friday nights.
