TRAFFIC IMPACT:

Lane closures may be required in the vinicity of active construdtion operations throughout the week of 9/17-9/21 Delays may occur, particulary in the evening hours.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:

Crews are scheduled to return to the project area during the week of 9/17 to clean debris out of roadway structures (manholes and storm drains). This work will be completed during nighttime hours (7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.). Residents should expect increased lighting and noise in the vicnity of this operation.

Work on the expansion joints on the Winooski Bridge is scheduled to begin next week. Please anticipate lane closures and possible flagged traffic at this location. As a result, delays may occur, particularly in the evening hours.

Look Ahead:

Work on the railroad crossing on VT Route 15 is currently being scheduled. Work will consist of milling the asphalt adjacent to the crossing, removing the rail seals, and then paving the area upon completion.

LOCATION:  This project begins on US-7/US-2 (Colchester Ave) at the Winooski/Burlington Town Line and continues northerly along US-7/US-2 (Main Street) to the Winooski/Paving Town Line. The project also begins at the Winooski Circulator on VT-15 (East Allen Street) and extends easterly along VT-15 (East Allen Street) to the Winooski/Colchester Town Line at the Class 1 Town Highway limit.
