Incredible Generosity from Rosie's Gaming & Colonial Downs!

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity of our friends at Rosie’s Gaming and Colonial Downs & their patrons, who raised over $61,000 for VBCF! From October – December 2024, Rosie’s guests at all 8 locations across Virginia donated leftover funds from their gaming cards to support breast cancer education, advocacy, and screening services for women in need.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed and to Chelsie Hardin, Rosie’s Director of Marketing & former VBCF Richmond Sole Star, for spearheading this campaign! This gift will change lives.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Don Geisler, a devoted VBCF advocate, volunteer, and former board member. Don’s dedication to supporting breast cancer patients and families was shaped by his own experiences—as a husband, son, and brother-in-law of survivors. His impact on our community will never be forgotten. Our hearts are with his wife, Barbara, and their family.
