❄️ As the fields rest and winter begins, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our members and community for being part of Land’s Sake.

May this season bring you moments of joy, nourishment, and connection—with the land and with each other. 🌙

EDUCATION

Winter and Early Spring Education Programs

Afterschool & February Vacation Week Opportunities

Our afterschool programs give kids in grades K–8 the chance to build community, explore the outdoors, and discover new skills on the farm. Children play in the snow, care for animals, cook in our education kitchen, learn gardening and forestry basics, and enjoy plenty of fresh air. With hands‑on learning and lots of fun woven into every afternoon, curiosity thrives. Register for afterschool, February vacation week, or both! Financial aid is available.

We launched a NEW registration system to make signing up for classes easier! 2026 members received a discount code last week. Please email education@landssake.org if you did not receive it.

Adult Winter Workshops

Join Land’s Sake Farm educators at the Weston Recreation Department for creative workshops ranging from candle and soap making to homemade crackers, teas, cheeses, salads, and fresh pasta. With so many unique options, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. PLEASE NOTE: Programs take place at the Weston Recreation Department on Alphabet Lane.

FARM

Farmstand Closed, Farm Still Open

Walk the Trails & Greet the Animals

Our farmstand is closed for the season and will reopen on February 7, 2026. While we’re taking this winter pause, you’re still welcome to enjoy a peaceful stroll around the farm. The land is open to the public during daylight hours; please stay on designated paths and remember to pick up after your furry friends. It’s a lovely way to stay connected to the space even in the quieter months, and enjoy wintertime life on the farm.

SUPPORT

There is Still Time to Give

Help us finish the year strong

Land’s Sake exists because of this community. A year-end contribution is a powerful way to invest in the land, the people who care for it, and the neighbors who rely on the food we grow. As needs continue to rise, your support helps us plan, plant, and give with intention in the coming season.
