We are proud to tell you that Theatre Collingwood's Arts Education Program has grown considerably over the past couple of years. Our mission in 2024 is to provide a diverse variety of fulfilling and skill-building courses, workshops, and classes that span the wide spectrum of the Performing Arts!


We are so excited to share our first crop of 2024 classes with you! Kids, Seniors, Adults of All Ages - There is something for everyone, and more to come throughout the year.

UP ON STAGE!

After School Program

*TWO separate sessions to choose from!


Tuesday Session: February 6 - April 23

Wednesday Session: February 7 - April 24


Final Performance Dates: April 30 & May 1


Age Range: 8 - 13


Class Times: 4:30pm - 6:30pm


Instructor: Dean Hollin


Location: The First Presbyterian Church


Tuition Cost: $350 incl. HST

We’ll act, we’ll sing, we’ll dance, build props, create sets and costumes, and much more - so many aspects of the world of theatre will be explored together!

This program culminates in a showcase for friends, family, and adoring fans!

Compelling Storytelling For Seniors


Class Dates: January 31 - March 6

(Wednesdays, 6 Weeks)


Age Range: 55+


Class Times: 1:00pm - 3:00pm


Instructor: Erica Angus


Location: The Leisure Time Club


Tuition Cost: $120 + HST


Erica Angus is the Executive Director of Theatre Collingwood, and has spent her career exploring and sharing wonderful stories throughout South Georgian Bay. In this evolving program, she will guide blossoming storytellers and help them to expressively communicate their stories to others. This course is perfect for those who want to learn the skill of sharing engaging stories, whether it be to a loving grandchild, across the dinner table or on stage in front of a captive audience!

The 20th Century Players


Class Dates: February 7 - May 1

(Wednesdays, 11 Weeks)


Age Range: 25+, Seniors Welcome!


Class Times: 1:30pm - 3:30pm


Instructor: Dean Hollin


Location: The First Presbyterian Church


Tuition Cost: $225 + HST

Here’s the deal - there are only two things you need. You have to have been born in the twentieth century - and you should ideally possess either a love of or a curiosity regarding the stage. That’s it!

Nothing else is required. The rest we’ll figure out together.

Act, sing, dance - we’ll explore it all! All options on the table!

Perhaps you’ve been away from the stage for a while. Maybe you’ve never been up there but have always wanted to give it a whirl! Whatever the case, I can’t wait for us to create something fun and entertaining together!

Burlesque for Daring Dames


LAST CHANCE - Classes Begin Thursday!

(Thursdays, 6 Weeks)


Age Range: 55+


Class Times: 1:30pm - 2:30pm


Instructor: Kat Salvador


Location: The SchoolHouse Collingwood


Tuition Cost: $120 + HST

For mature ladies who want to have fun and try a different art form in this movement class! Expert instructor Kat Salvador is beloved by her students and is passionate about teaching women how to perform burlesque moves in this course designed just for you!


There is no previous experience necessary and these movement classes are great for all body types and fitness levels. Most of all, there will be no judgement. Just come out and enjoy yourself and have a laugh!
