Born May 8th 1939, in Tampa, Idaho, to Joseph and Mary Ridder Glass, she moved with her family to California in 1943.

Rosemary was part of the first graduating class of Bishop Armstrong High School. She continued her education at American River College.

In 1974, Rosemary and her sister Gratia Stanton opened Caravan Travel, taking a Greyhound Bus to San Francisco every week to learn the trade. A major benefit of the business was the ability to travel the world, which Rosemary greatly enjoyed.

Besides travel, Rosemary cherished her children and grandchildren. She was a good friend and had a keen sense of humor. She loved the NYT crossword puzzle, buttery chardonnays, and reading mystery novels and the newspaper for at least the headlines). In addition, Rosemary volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years. In memory of Rosemary, her family has established a monthly donation to Saint Vincent de Paul.
