First of all, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones! Second, the year is about to end and we have some exciting updates!

The Barberi Family

New Church Plant in Argentina!

At the beginning of this year a young man named Damian from Cordoba, Argentina contacted us. He saw our Bible institute on Facebook and he wanted to enroll. Although at the time we did not have online courses, we decided to send him our teaching materials via email. After a few months he began to ask us if he could teach what he was learning, and we said PLEASE! To make the long story short, we now have a house church in Argentina that is growing rapidly. Damian is leading it and he is only eighteen years old. His goal is to reach out to the young generation that has abandoned or dislikes the church in his country. Please keep brother Damian in your prayers as he continues to lead this new church. Also help us pray for God's guidance and provision, because since they are growing fast, they will soon need a bigger building.

New Hip Hop Church in El Salvador

During our last trip to El Salvador in June of 2019 the Lord opened a huge door! Abraham was getting a haircut at a barber shop and he noticed that the barbers were young, with tattoos, and listening to Hip Hop music. To his surprise they knew about the "Urban-Hip Hop Church" in Matamoros, and expressed to him that if there was such a church in El Salvador, they would attend it. Well, that was the beginning of our new urban - hip hop church in El Salvador.

In a few months they are making a huge impact in El Salvador reaching out to gang members, teenagers and young adults. This church is making such in impact that the government has invited them to go to public schools to preach the gospel! They have also been invited to TV and radio shows spreading the Good News through Hip Hop. The gangs do not like what they are doing, so please keep them and pastor Jorge in your prayers.

Through your generous donations we are helping them pay for a small room, but they are growing and they need a bigger and permanent place, so help us pray for God's provision.

New Church Plant in Valle Hermoso

As some of you know, we already have two churches in Valle Hermoso and one of them, led by pastor Ignacio (also a student of our bible institute), just started a new church plant there! Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to reach out to their community. They are meeting at a house but rapidly growing and in need of a bigger and permanent place to congregate. So, please help us pray for God's provision.

Valle Hermoso is a small city about an hour away from Matamoros. This small city was heavily affected by the cartel wars a few years ago and it is barely recuperating. Help us pray for this city.

Ministering to Asylum Seekers

Asylum seekers are immigrants trying to enter into the U.S.A. the right and legal way. There are over two thousand of them from different countries at the Matamoros international border waiting patiently for their turn. Some of them have been waiting for months to get an appointment to enter legally.

We had been praying to the Lord to send us to the nations, and He sent the nations to us!

The SBTC and Samaritan's Purse have contacted us and joined us in our efforts to minister to them. We go three days a week to provide food, water, clothes, medical attention, and the Good News of Jesus Christ!

Many have heard and received the the Gospel! We've already already started a small church at the bridge named "Comunidad del Puente" (Community of the Bridge). Please keep them in your prayers, many have been kidnapped, abused, sick, hungry, thirsty, discriminated, and forgotten.

Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to be the Lord's hands and feet to them by bringing thousands of meals and over 45,000 litters of potable water weekly.
