Shared Weight: An expansion of online communities that support organizers, callers, musicians, and singers!
We’re excited to announce the renewal of Shared We ight which now includes online communities of dance organizers, dance musicians, callers of all sorts, AND a brand new list for song organizers !

These online communities are a fantastic way to connect with others throughout North America and beyond to ask questions, share information, and discuss topics of common interest. All you need to join is an email address.

Check out the Shared Weight website at sharedweight.net and read more about the renewal in this recent CDSS News article

A greatly expanded CDSS Resource Portal!
We’re also thrilled to announce that TODAY is the launch of a vastly expanded CDSS Resource Portal!  The goal of the Portal is to support you and others who take on valuable leadership roles in local traditional dance, music, and song communities.

The expanded Portal links to many of the very best resources available for organizers, callers, singers, ritual dancers, educators, dance musicians, and more. There are hundreds of resources organized by topic as well as links on how to connect with others online or at in-person gatherings.

We are looking to add even more resources to the Portal and we really appreciate resources created by members of our network. You and your communities each carry expertise that can benefit others! So - if you know of a resource that should be included, suggest it here.

Check out the Portal at www.cdss.org/resource-portal

Please share this news widely with singers, dancers,
organizers, educators, callers, and musicians in your communities!
