Students from the College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville will offer free tax preparation through the VITA program again this year. But, because of the pandemic it will look a little different.

This year, all tax prep will be done with virtual appointments or curbside drop-offs, said Dr. Genevieve Scalan, associate professor in the accounting and finance department, said. “We are still doing taxes 100 percent for free for taxpayers with under $66,000 household income.”

The online Master’s degree in Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is ranked among the top 100 in the nation, according to a prestigious list assembled by U.S. News and World Report.

The online MBA in the College of Business Administration ranks at number 100 for online programs and 59 for online programs for veterans. The program placed first in the rank indicators for faculty credentials and training with a perfect 100 score.

“The Super Bowl Stock Market Predictor indicates that if the Super Bowl is won buy an NFC team, the stock market rises," Texas A&M University-Kingsville professor Dr. Thomas Krueger says. "If it’s won buy an AFC team, the stock market will tend to not do as well. In fact it could drop." READ MORE
