Supporting the Y today & for our future

Endowment Fund
The Greater Johnstown Community YMCA has an Endowment Fund through the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies. An endowment fund is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding. Endowment assets are invested to produce current income and growth. Each year, all or a portion of the fund’s earnings are paid out to support the fund’s purpose. In this way, an endowment fund can grow and provide support for its designated purpose in perpetuity. Donations can be made directly through the CFA or on their website by searching for YMCA.

Planned Giving

Your planned gift will leave a lasting legacy to support a stronger community while meeting your personal, financial, and estate-planning goals. Talk with your attorney about adding the Greater Johnstown Community YMCA to your Will or Living Trust, Retirement Distributions, or Charitable Gift Annuities. These are just a few ways you can ensure our youth and families will continue to learn, grow and thrive in our community. For more information, visit our website.
