Winter | 2025-2026

Annual Memberships are now available online with the usual 10% savings on the Wapiti Nordic base rate if purchased by midnight November 30th. This year we have had to incorporate a one time adjustment to include mandatory Nordiq Canada and Nordiq Alberta fees for all, but the base Wapiti Nordic rates have remained the same as 2024-2025 (and the year prior to that). Full details are available via the Info button and Wapiti Nordic members can now access a NordiqPlus+ discount program (linked) with select vendors. Parking passes will be available for pick up in person periodically at the lodge - keep an eye on our Facebook page for pick up details. As one committed Wapiti Nordic member has voluntarily shared "A membership is, hands down, the best value I get for my annual health/recreation/entertainment spending. Highly recommend - this place is a gem!!"

Are you looking for "new to you" skis?  Do you have skis that don't fit your children any more? Do you have ski gear you aren't using anymore? 

DROP OFF: Friday, November 14th 4:30-6:30 pm. Steve Cooper Lodge. Bring in gear that you want to be included in the ski swap. 

SHOP: Saturday, November 15th 1:30-4:00pm Steve Cooper Lodge. Gear will be available for purchase. 

PICK UP: Saturday, Nov 15th 4:00-4:30pm Pick up cheques or your gear that wasn't sold.  

Payments are by cash or e-transfer only.

Our Fall General Meeting has been scheduled for 1:00pm on Sunday, November 23rd at the Steve Cooper lodge. Draft Minutes of the 2025 Spring General Meeting are available for review with the Agenda to follow soon.

Winter | 2025-2026

Bunny Rabbits (4-6 years) and Jackrabbits (6-9 years) can now register for this coming Winter season. Seasonal rentals are be available for kids enrolled in the Jackrabbit program. A membership is required per child but all very reasonably priced relative to other organized sports and programs! Don't delay - this program will sell out!

Winter | 2025-2026

The Biathlon Bears & Ecoaims program started in early November. We have three sessions on Saturdays, with 6 to 7 participants in each, practicing Ecoaim rifles skills, running through the obstacle course, playing fun games and generally getting ready for the snow!

Now that Phase 1 of the north Multi-Use trails project has been soft launched, and before Phase 2 commences, we'd love to hear how well the Club commnicated throughout the planning and construction of Phase 1, and how we can improve for Phase 2. Please take a moment to complete this short survey - we value your input.

January 9-11 | 2026

Tickets are now available online for this epic display of outdoor adventure, showcasing the beauty of Mother Nature and the resilience of the human spirit. View the trailer here for a taste of what to expect! Three different programs (6-8 films in each) over three shows: Friday, Jan 9th @ 7pm, Saturday Jan 10th @ 7pm and Sunday Jan 11th @ 2pm. Catch one show ($30), attend two ($56) or go all in with three shows ($78). Plan a night out with friends or family and support our Club at the same time as this event is a major fundraiser and supports general Club operations and programs. Tickets make a great experiential Christmas gift for that hard to buy someone!

Winter | 2025-2026

Chicks on Sticks will be taking over the trails on Monday and Thursday evenings again this winter. Once there is enough snow to ski on Chicks will hit the trails! Stay tuned for email updates from Melissa and Doris. Wannbe a Chick? Sign up when you register for your annual Membership.

Fall | 2025

The Wapiti Nordic Race team is up and training for the coming season! We are looking for new athletes (aged 8-18yrs) to the team and if you have any questions, please just email Coach Claire. With the Alberta Winter Games (age: 12-15) and Arctic Winter Games (age: 14-18) this season, we’re excited to welcome snow early this year and hope that the late autumn means an early snow fall!! We look forward to seeing you out on the trails this fall and winter!
