Graduate Student Receives Carbon Conscious Award at

Psychonomic Society's Annual Meeting

Congratulations to Mary Bernard Pacheco, a graduate student in the Community Psychology master's program, who received a Carbon Conscious Award at the Psychonomic Society's annual meeting in New York City, November 21-24. The award recognizes individuals for their commitment to reducing carbon emissions while attending the annual meeting through sustainable travel choices and eco-conscious participation.

"I received it for my climate friendly travel arrangements, including taking the train, a family style meal, not staying in a hotel, and using a reusable water bottle," said Pacheco. "I was honored to get this award on the very first year they were offering it, and on my first time attending the conference."

Do you have an award, conference presentation, or another achievement to share? Please send it to newsletter@sage.edu.
