SUNHOUSE IS BACK FROM WINTER CAMP!

Camp is a sacred tradition at SunHouse because of the transformation we see students experience. This year, our camp theme was "Reshaped." In the same way potters and artists can make broken pottery functional and beautiful again, God can restore the brokenness in our fractured lives.

Through music, teaching, small groups, and experiences of worship our students learned about the character of Saul (or is it Paul?), and his miraculous life transformation. It was an amazing, snowy weekend together on the mountain!

We (Abe and Sophie) are so grateful to have a team dedicated to serving our students. These people shepherded, nurtured, protected, engaged, and prayed for your kids all weekend long. If you see them around, we encourage you to say hello or let them know how camp was impactful for your child.

You just picked up your kid from camp: they’re sleepy, and their luggage is full of dirty laundry. Let them know you’re happy to have them home. Don't be discouraged if you don't hear much right away, connection may come more easily after a nap or a day of processing! Consider using one of our tried & true conversation-starting alternatives to the dead-end, worn-out question, "How was camp?!"

Summer Camp on Catalina Island:

Everything you loved about winter camp, but we're swapping snowy hills for sandy beaches. June 10th-13th, 2024. Save the date. Registration details coming soon.

Small Group Enrollment Week:

If you're looking for ways for your child to grow alongside peers and leaders, small group may be the right fit! Enrollment for spring 2024 small groups will be February 18th-24th on our website. Mark your calendar!

Baptism:

Did you forget to pick up your medications from camp? Please collect them from our office before March 1st.

We returned from camp with several lost & found items-please come collect your things before March 1st (we donate lost & found items at the end of each month).
