Dates, Locations, costs and contact information for ALL approved marriage preparation courses in Minnesota are available on our website.

Couples are encouraged to take the Marriage Course early in the marriage preparation process - even up to a year before their wedding.

Second & Hispanic Marriage Courses

Second Marriage Preparation Course
when one or both are preparing to marry after the death of a spouse or annulment. 
Cost $175 per couple.

Hispanic Marriage Preparation Course
Cost is $110 per couple
  • March 30, 2019
  • November 9, 2019
  • (8 am to 5 pm)

Registration is required at least 2 weeks prior to the course. All courses are held at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, 305 N 7th Ave, St Cloud

Note to Priests

We are in need of priests to hear confessions at the Men’s Conference.

Confessions will be in Worship Space from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. As a volunteer you are invited to attend the entire conference at no cost. Before hearing confessions, lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Puberty Presentation on-line
Over the last 32 years, I have given talks to thousands of 5th grade students on the topic of "Puberty." Last Spring, anticipating my retirement, we taped my presentation. We are in process of editing the videos and making them available on our web-site, along with accompanying resources for parents. The project is scheduled for completion by January 11. We hope these will be helpful to you, your parents and students.

Baptism Preparation Lullaby CD
Baptismal preparation is an excellent opportunity to discuss the topics of parenting and marriage with a couple. It may also be a time when married couples examine their choices in family planning. The Lullaby CD packet is a gift you can give the couple which includes a beautiful arrangement of lullabies and a short booklet on Natural Family Planning. The packets are available at “no charge” from the Office of Marriage & Family.

MARCH FOR LIFE Join us on the bus for a Prayer Service and the March for Life on January 22nd at the Cathedral of St. Paul. The bus will leave after the 7:15 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony Parish parking lot in St. Cloud picking up in Foley and Clearwater and will return at approximately 3:00 p.m. A free-will offering will be accepted to help defer the cost of the bus.

Pro-Life Chair - Calendar 2019
The 2018 annual calendar for planning pro-Life activities in parishes is now available on-line. If you have a Pro-Life Chair or committee, this is the perfect tool for them, whether they have been meeting for years or are new to the pro-life movement.  
40 Days for Life
March 6 through April 13
Mon-Fri 7 am to 7 pm
The focus of this pro-life effort consists of:
  •  40 days of prayer & fasting
  •  40 days of peaceful vigil
  •  40 days of community outreach
You and your parishioners can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil.  Many people are needed to maintain the peaceful prayer and vigil at the Planned Parenthood site on E St Germain in St Cloud.

Catholics at the Capitol

Want to make your Catholic voice heard at the Capitol?

Minnesota Catholics will be gathering at the State Capitol to learn about the issues impacting our faith and daily life. You’ll have the
chance to hear from and meet with legislators, pray with fellow Catholics, and get a window into the legislative process. These are opportunities for you to share your story and make your voice count. Preregistration is required for this free event and space is limited. A free-will offering will be accepted.
Safe Haven Sunday
March 2/3, 2019 -  a weekend set aside by the dioceses and parishes in Minnesota to directly address the harms of pornography in an appropriate way.

Within the context of the Mass, dioceses and parishes are able to provide teaching and resources that will support and protect individuals, marriages and families in making all homes a safe haven.

Fully Engaged Price Increase Jan. 15, 2019
Since we launched Fully Engaged in 2011, we have not increased our prices for scoring or materials. We understand how tight budgets are and we want to keep our materials as affordable as possible.
If you are having your couples take the inventory on-line OR if someone in your parish is entering in the couple's answers, there is No increase .
However, if you send your inventories to our office via e-mail, FAX or USPS, and we enter the data in for you, the cost of scoring will increase from $8 to $10 per couple .
