Winter Commencement: Regalia and Volunteer Information
We are excited to celebrate the great accomplishments of our students alongside you at Winter Commencement on Saturday, November 21. To ensure the health and safety of all participants, we must stay flexible.

At this time, we are planning to hold two ceremonies to limit the size of gatherings. The ceremonies will be divided by college and are planned for 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Given the continually shifting number of graduate RSVPs from each college, we ask for your patience as we determine the best way to group colleges. We will inform you of which ceremony to attend as soon as we can accurately make that decision, but no later than October 30.

Please also note that alternate arrangements are being made in the event that an in-person ceremony is not feasible due to COVID-19. More information about the commencement health precautions are available online.
Faculty Regalia
Regalia rental orders are due by this Sunday, October 11. The University will cover the cost of your rentals. Faculty are encouraged to order online at jostens.com/college.

If you wish to volunteer for this event, please coordinate with your supervisor prior to signing up. Classified staff will be compensated for time worked during commencement and must coordinate with their supervisors to determine whether this time will be managed as work hour adjustments, compensatory time, or paid overtime.

Please direct specific volunteer questions to Allyson Johnson at johnally@isu.edu or (208) 282-4798. Thank you for supporting Commencement.

COVID-19 Precautions
This commencement will look different from all other past ceremonies, as we work to keep participants healthy. In order to adhere to public health guidelines, we are unable to have an audience. Family and friends can watch the ceremony via a live stream on youtube.com/idahostateu.
