Gazebo Upgrades Starting to Take Place
Construction teams will be onsite next week to start renovating the Steele Memorial Bandstand/Gazebo in Bettinger Park.

Last year, many Lakesiders gave gifts on #GivingTuesday to help enhance this beloved gathering space. Because of your generosity, we'll be gathering at a refreshed Gazebo next summer for family concerts, educational lectures and weddings.

The aesthetics of the space will be improved by adding a fresh coat of white paint and a new roof. Our Grounds Crew will enhance the landscaping with new shrubs and add new perennial and annual flowers in the spring.

What's Taking Place
on the Waterfront?
We've received questions about activity taking place on the waterfront near Perry Park. Hancock-Wood Electric Cooperative is replacing an underground electrical line that runs from Lakeside to Kelleys Island. Lakeside isn't involved in the project, but we're cooperating where needed so that the project can be completed efficiently.
