2023 State of the System Report, Interactive Dashboard
The SCTPO annually evaluates the state of Brevard’s transportation system. The results are summarized in the 2023 State of the System (SOS) report that details our County's high crash corridors and intersections, most congested roadways, and busiest corridors for all mode types. New for 2024, an interactive dashboard allows partners and the public to engage with the roadway, traffic, and safety metrics covered in this annual report.

SCTPO Honors Road Traffic Victims, Shares Personal Stories
From November 17 - 25, 2024, the SCTPO recognized World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims with a social media spotlight campaign to honor lives lost and impacted. The social media posts amplified the victims' stories, underscoring the importance of ending roadway tragedies. SCTPO Welcomes New Transportation Planner
Meet our new Transportation Planner, Patty Rendon! In her role, Patty will coordinate multimodal transportation planning, including developing projects, researching, analyzing, and assisting in planning studies. She’ll also spearhead our Vision Zero program to eliminate serious injuries and fatalities on our roadways.
Patty has over 10 years of experience in public engagement and project management. Before joining our team, she worked for Brevard County Government in both the Utility Services Department and the Brevard County Environmentally Endangered Lands Program. We are excited to have Patty join our SCTPO Team!
