A THANKSGIVING GIFT
Each Thanksgiving a long-time volunteer tutor and Project READ supporter donates Thanksgiving dinners to Project READ families in need. What began as one amazingly kind gesture has become a long-anticipated and much appreciated event that has helped hundreds of families bring a nourishing dinner home for Thanksgiving. This year, we are so pleased to share that this generous act of kindness from one person was matched by another. Encouraged by the hope this food brings, another Project READ volunteer joined in this donation effort. Together, these two supporters have donated over $10,000 to help bring Thanksgiving dinner to 130 Project READ families.
